Don’t just be a spectator of Chilean heritage. Servitour invites you to interact with the flora and fauna of the Chilean coasts in an unforgettable experience among penguins, sea and typical gastronomy.
Just 1 hour and a half from Santiago, 80km north of Valparaíso, Zapallar (“place of pumpkins” in Mapudungun) will captivate you with its beautiful landscapes, and where you will understand why in the 60’s it attracted a number of European architects who left their legacy in what are currently the sector´s houses. Just meters away from the white sand beach and crystal clear waters, classic Italian and German architecture will blow you away to a dream place.
We will go into unpaved streets, among natural forests of the area, through a beautiful path, bordering the resort´s rocky coast, made with local resources and at the hands of local workers.
Once in the cove, where the boat ride sets off, a fisherman from the area with more than 10 years of experience will take you to visit the Natural Monument of Isla (Island) Cachagua, a place for the preservation of the emblematic Humboldt penguin and home to a diverse flora and fauna (“cuca”heron, swan, “yeco”duck, “garuma” seagulls, “pitotoy” sea bird, etc). This tour lasts approximately 1 hour.
After this experience, we invite you to taste some typical seafood at “Chiringuito”, a restaurant with a long fishing tradition, with fresh seafood extracted directly from the Pacific Ocean and a captivating local gastronomy.
